Christmas is…
★ A time of hope…
★ A time of loving…
★ A time of joy…
But wait — it is NOT Christmas.
However, shouldn’t everyday be a time of HOPE?
★ A prayer will be answered
★ There will be a cure for an illness
★ My day will go better than yesterday
★ A dream will come true
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Everyday is a time of LOVING
★ Saying “I love you” to someone you love
★ Giving a hug to someone
★ Giving someone a call
John 15:17 This I command you, to love one another.
1 Corinthians 13:7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Everyday is a time of JOY
★ Doing something that brings someone joy (delivering a meal, baking goodies, sharing a conversation, etc…)
★ Doing something that brings you joy (praying, reading, writing, doing a craft, listening to music, etc…)
★ Receiving good news
★ Reaching a goal
Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to him for whom nothing is
prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Psalms 98:8 Let the floods clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together
Please pray with us today.
Dear Lord:
In this time of uncertainity, help us find hope, love and joy in You each day.
Amen
